  • I loved the location and magical atmosphere at Adamá. The name of the restaurant comes from the Hebrew word for ground/earth, and it's appropriate. I enjoyed sitting in the indoor-outdoor location under the stars during a perfect dry season evening. I tried the fluffy pita bread and the lamb kebab. It as perfectly seasoned! I went early (by Oaxacan standards) for dinner and as I left a little before 8:00pm, the place was full! If you are going to dine here as a group, I would make reservations!

  • We absolutely love this place; it's one of our favorites. The service is attentive without being overbearing, the food is always excellent, and the ambiance is cozy and romantic. And one of the most important details is that many places in town do not have is an excellent selection of music that allows you to have a conversation without needing to yell. We come here at least twice a month if not more. It's also a great place for gathering with friends for a nice mellow night of dinner and drinks!

  • we are considering staying another night in Oaxaca just to come back to this amazing restaurant. We’re both veg and found A full menu of options here. Even joining just five minutes before closure, they took us in to share a table with a family and gave us the most divine feast. Definitely recommend.

  • The food was good, but there were some touches which I didn't like. Rose on baklava is not good. Also, there was a herb in the falafel which I hadn't seen before. Except for that, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional.

  • Food was amazing, we loved every bite, so flavorful and fresh, would only recommend to maybe think about increasing the portions size. For example the labaneh, borek and the baklava were particularly tiny. However, that don’t take away the fact that all of it was very delicious and the ambience was very pleasing. Would come back again!

  • Adama has chill vibes, is tucked any in a little corner off the street, and serves some intensely good food! The atmosphere is instantly relaxing, and the wait staff (and owner, who welcomed us) were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the pickles and pickled olives - they import them from Israel! Oh, and get there early if you can! We missed the salads as they were all out when we arrived less than on hour before closing. Will definitely be going back.

  • Run... as it is the BEST Middle Eastern food you will have! The best falafel in the world exists…. We enjoyed every bite taken with a fresh pita made near you. The service was superb! Visiting Oaxaca for the joy of culture and food- we will be back for more

  • Such a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere. Fresh pita baked on site. We had the tabouleh, cauliflower, fried olives (try them!), grape leaves, lamb kebab, and baklava. Highly recommend!
